Thank you all so much for an AMAZING 2010-2011 Wedding Season! You’ve kept us busy and we loved every minute of it. :)

Unfortunately, Sealed With a J will no longer be accepting orders from now until the end of December. But don’t worry! We’ll be back to business on January 2012. Since I do all the assembly including the spray mounting of the invites from home, I need to start cutting down on the fumes to keep Baby Baria safe and healthy. The Do It Yourself invitations have the same design process as the typical invitations except at the end, we will provide you with all the cut pieces which you will assemble on your own. I can either provide you the spray mount and adhesives or give you suggestions on where to purchase them. Don’t think of it as tedious work, but make a fun night out of it! You can invite your close friends or your bridal party over for an invitation assembly party included with food and drinks! But maybe save the food and drinks for AFTER the assembly. :)

I will still provide flat card invitations that do not require any layering. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have and for price quotes on these new DIY Invitations! Happy crafting everyone!

We’ve been so busy with invitations already this year that we haven’t been able to update our website. It’s only March and Sealed With a J has already created invitations for 5 different weddings with plenty more to come! Thank you so much for all the beautiful couples we’ve been able to work with so far and to all those inquiries we’re still getting. It’s certainly been an exciting first couple months.

One of the most exciting milestones for us is that we have created our very first letterpress invitations with the help of The Evanston Print and Paper Shop! Letterpress printing definitely brings a subtle elegance to our invitations and we will definitely be adding it to our printing options starting this year. Please stay tuned for more updates to the website and congratulations to all lovely 2011 wedding couples!

My memory of him will be of the smile that lit his face when we saw Bahar enter the room in her wedding dress. Nick had such a warm, uplifting spirit that will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families and friends.

Wish Upon a Wedding is the world’s first non-profit wish granting organization providing weddings and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. Sealed with a J is honored to be a chosen as a wish granter for Nick and Bahar’s wedding! This will be the 2nd wedding granted since Chicago launched its Chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding this past March. We are creating invitations, placecards, programs and dinner menus for their special day and can’t wait to see how their whole wedding comes together! They are such a well deserving couple and I wish them the best!

It was about time for a new look, which meant revamping our logo and webpage. We chose to go with a very simple logo design, similar to our original logo but with a more artistic “j”.   As for our website, we sought out the help of a professional to create a modern design and more “flash”. Brian Casel of Casjam Media was able to achieve the look and feel that we envisioned, all in a short amount of time! And even though he was out of state (based out in New York), Brian was VERY easy to work with, patient, offered great communication and quick turnaround. The overall look and functionality of our new site surpassed my expectations! I highly recommend him for your website needs! Now, please feel free to look around and enjoy our new website!
